Boss Raid, Mock Contest & Virtual Battleground

Boss Raid: sustained single target

Iida is a major community favorite because a maintained 200% engine loop produces sustained boss pressure. Hawks needs ultimate uptime; Endeavor needs an appropriate investment/build. Judge the run by damage inside the scoring window, not training-dummy peak DPS. [S07, S09, S24]

Handle invulnerability

Preserve gauges or prepare the next burst while the boss cannot be hit. With Iida, the special can protect the combo timer; an ultimate near the end is a community tactic, but timing and whether damage counts after the clock depend on the mode. Check your result screen before relying on it. [S07, S34]

Mock Contest: exploit the scoring rules

Read the enemy type and available challenges. Use your strongest appropriate hero, then improve individual runs where rewards justify the time. Historically it supplied credits and character-shard progression; exact rank rewards and stages are version-specific. [S20, S35]

Virtual Battleground

Build teams around the selected conditions and enemy waves. Grouping, fast area damage and a boss finisher are generally useful. A damage leaderboard can favor an aggressive build that would be a poor choice for a survival condition. An exact current best team was not established in the sources.

Repeatable scoring plan

Run once to learn the mechanics. Identify the largest wasted interval, then alter one part of the opener or build. Keep a note of hero rank, cards, actives, boost and final score so that the next attempt teaches you something.

Investment caution

Historical debates about paid event permits often disagree because early accounts need shards/credits while developed accounts need gear materials. Those arguments do not establish a universal best purchase or current reward table. [S36]
