Mustard plus crit/general offense is the supported starting direction. The older card sheet specifically warns against treating Nomu as a default for base Bakugo. Choose developed budget cards rather than an untested normal-attack package. [S05, S28]
Manual play
No sufficiently verified exact optimized button rotation was recovered. Starting approach: activate the relevant special window, connect your skill burst and use normals only when they preserve useful pressure between cooldowns. Practice the talent-enhanced high-damage skill against an enemy that can move before treating dummy damage as real output.
Investment
The 2023 tier author explicitly explains that the favorable PvE placement assumes SSS+ Bakugo. That does not prove a fresh S copy outdamages Tokoyami or other developed heroes. Early Arena discussions also emphasize execution and latency. [S04, S39]
Practice tips
Compare a complete skill cycle without interruptions to your current approach. Record wasted cooldowns and missed hits; then adjust cards for the damage you actually dealt.
