Arena: practice the neutral game

Historical Arena normalizes combat stats; buying PvE cards is not the way to learn it. Learn range, hit confirmation, dodge recovery, hyperarmor and invulnerability. Avoid swinging into protection and preserve an escape or switch for a bad engagement. Exact normalization rules should be checked in your version. [S20, S39]

Historical matchup themes

Mirio, WHM Deku, WHM Shoto and Aizawa were prominent later-era picks. Momo weapon choice, Kirishima counters, Mineta control and Ojiro movement give standard heroes meaningful matchup tools. Claims that any one of them automatically counters the whole roster are not supported. [S04, S13, S14, S39-S41]

Team selection

Choose heroes you can use in different situations: an approach tool, ranged/control pressure and a recovery/counter option. Learn one reliable opening combo per hero before trying elaborate chains. Ping changes what can be reacted to; a connection issue is not proof of a balance change.

Tag Team

Coordinate switches and pressure with your teammate. Community posts report bugs and uncertainty about whether resonance/BP affect the mode. This guide does not assert that it shares Arena normalization, or invent a definitive best duo. Read the rules and test with a consistent partner. [S42]

Alliance Drill

Historical discussions describe objective control and PvP with support cards. Position and team coordination matter alongside the duel; do not import card-free Arena advice without adjustment. Avoid a fixed schedule or scoring claim without checking the current event screen. [S16]

Alliance Boss and training

For a cooperative damage target, use the boss-damage principles above and attend the event your alliance actually runs. Current schedules, rewards and server-specific functionality were not verified by this research.
