Active cards

For manual PvE, choose reliable hits and useful burst effects. Snipe is a common single-target option; Principal Nezu is often used for area control. All Might and Kamui Woods actives provide grouping/damage in surviving card guides. Place them into a real damage window and keep the target inside the effect. [S06, S17, S28]

AI card use

Warzone advice often favors shielding, damage and control over ultimate-energy setups. Nezu can disrupt enemies without hyperarmor, but a claimed full-team stun is positioning- and target-dependent. A card recommendation for training-dummy DPS does not establish its AI value. [S17]

A fair damage comparison

Use the same stage or training duration, gear, chips, resonance, target count and active timing. Run each setup several times. Compare total damage, completion time and survival; record whether an Assessment boost was active. This test protocol is editorial guidance, not a claim that the builds here were benchmarked.

A fair AI comparison

Keep the opponent and formation as consistent as possible. Change one card or slot at a time. Watch the first engagement: did the carry cast, get interrupted, miss, or die? A lower-BP win can be caused by control or matchup rather than a hidden damage bug.

Avoid expensive guesses

Before chasing duplicates, identify what is preventing progress: missing damage, short skill uptime, an interrupted opener, a bad matchup or a mechanic you have not practiced. Build upgrades should solve that problem. Historical gacha and paid-permit advice is not current purchasing guidance.

Quick build templates

Normals: choose two normal-damage cards, then crit/penetration options. Skills: choose Mustard or another skill amplifier, then general offense. AI: preserve a useful offensive core and test one defensive slot. These are starting templates; use the character pages to avoid classification mistakes. [S05-S08]
