Cards and build
General crit/penetration is a reasonable starting foundation; both EXs with Cold Shot/Game Start appears in a 2024 player loadout, but the post asks for improvements and is not a controlled best-build test. Do not present that exact four-card set as mathematically optimal. [S43a]
Manual play
An Arena discussion suggests E with the normal chain, alternating E/W, using the red-glove follow-up after skills and special to replenish skills. Q offers a stun opportunity. Learn those follow-up prompts instead of pressing buttons without checking the state. In a mirror match, spacing and the order of E/W matter. [S14]
Investment
Threads proposing counters disagree: WHM heroes, Endeavor, Momo, Kirishima and Tamaki appear as possible answers in different circumstances. There is no verified universal counter. Claims that he was secretly nerfed are not established by patch evidence in the collected research. [S13, S39a]
Practice tips
Practice each skill into the correct follow-up and identify the recovery gap. Then test the sequence against a mirror or ranged opponent rather than only a dummy.
